The Bega Valley
Bega is approximatley five hours drive south of Sydney and half hour north of magical Merimbula.
It is the home of the famous ‘Bega Cheese’, which is the primary income source to local dairy
farmers. Bega is also known to be the main shopping location of the sapphire coast, having the
major supermarkets and largest electrical and homeware outlets.
Being blessed with rolling green hills and lush pastures, makes this quiet town an ideal place to have a picnic or a
relaxing weekend getaway from the city hustle and bustle.
Bega is sister city to Littleton, Colorado in the United States.
