Middle Beach - Merimbula
Merimbula's Middle Beach is a more private and lesser known beach, situated just around the headland from 'Short Point'.
Middle beach is a great secluded getaway, with relatively calm waters, where you can snorkel or even scuba dive around the interesting
rocky terrain. It is also an ideal place to take the dog for a walk, read a book, or relax in general, without the summer crowd to
interrupt your peace and quiet.
As with all Merimbula beaches, Middle Beach is also just a short drive from town
This area is not patrolled by life-guards during the summer months. So, if swimming is your thing and you would prefer a patrolled beach
then Short Point or Main Beach may be more to your liking.
It is also a great place to catch fish, with the great variety of marine life almost literally at your finger tips.
There are no ammenities or barbeque facilities in Middle Beach. What you see is what you get, an enjoyable, uncrowded beach area. Just one
of little hidden wonders in Merimbula!
