Bar Beach - Merimbula
Bar Beach, Merimbula is situated only a couple of minutes away from Spencer Park, off Lake Street. Making it very close to the town
center of Merimbula.
Merimbula's Bar Beach is popular for both swimming, snorkelling, or paddling around on the body-board. Although, this beach is
not patrolled by lifeguards. So, care must be taken as the currents can be strong during mid tide changes as Bar Beach is located
at the inlet of Merimbula Lake.
Toilets, showers, and barbeque facilities area available. Along with multiple picnic tables, some of which are undercover, depending
on your preference on the day.
As with all of the beaches in Merimbula, the waters are always crystal clear and if you are snorkelling, you are sure to see schools
of fish swimming by!
If surfing is your preference, it is only a short paddle over to 'The Bar' which joins up with Main Beach and, if the conditions are
right, you can catch some of the cleanest waves you could possibly find.
Either way, you can't go wrong at Bar Beach during your stay at Merimbula!
